Background Frederick Coward, Jr., Investigative Services International (ISI) Corporation founder and President, is a former agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). His law enforcement career has spanned 41 years with extensive investigative experience, including assignments in the U.S., Mexico and Asia. During his FBI career, he was appointed as the Deputy Legal Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, having responsibility for criminal, civil and security investigations in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. As a U.S. Diplomat, he advised U.S. Ambassadors and Embassy Section Heads regarding investigative and intelligence matters affecting U.S. foreign relations. Liaison was with U.S. and foreign government officials, presidents and CEO's of multi-national corporations resulting in a worldwide network of information sources. As a special agent of the FBI domestic assignments covered the expanse of the US. Off shore assignments included Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands (CNMI) and the FBI's representative to Micronesia and Palau, and special assignments to Polynesia, Melanesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Mexico, Central and South America and the Philippines. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Coward was a police officer and detective with the Long Beach, California Police Department, where he served for five years. He has testified in the U.S. courts as a experienced criminal investigator for over four decades. Upon his retirement from the FBI, he was selected as Director of Operations for a major worldwide investigative company headquartered in Hong Kong. During his tenure, he managed and conducted civil, criminal, security and background investigations throughout Asia, the Pacific Rim, and the United States, its territories and possessions. Mr. Coward holds the degree of Bachelor of Science in Criminology with a minor in Political Science and is fluent in Japanese. As a FBI Special Instructor, he has provided training to U.S. and foreign law enforcement agencies and the private sector throughout the world. Training has included international and domestic terrorism, civil, criminal and security investigations, white collar and organized crime, public corruption and other related topics. Mr. Coward is a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Inc., headquartered at Quantico, Virginia and other significant professional networks and organizations, both domestic and international. Such distinctive affiliations allow him access to the world's elite experienced investigators. |
